A WEEKEND OF WONDER
July 2023 sees the arrival of our inaugural Rubix Festival, a genre-bending fusion of entertainment, music, art, cinema, tech and interactive learning that will completely re-define your summer at Porto Montenegro.
You’ll be treated to the sounds of house and techno superstar DJ Damian Lazarus, the laidback sounds of UK band Morcheeba and pianist Francesco Tristano’s unique fusion of baroque and contemporary influences.
Rubix is multi-sensory experiences; from audio-visual artworks to live street art, wine tasting and chefs tables to tantalize your taste buds.
Rubix is musical theatre; we are proud to welcome The Infernal Comedy Starring John Malkovich, a Hollywood actor and creative iconoclast who has devised and directed this experimental piece featuring opera singers and a baroque orchestra alongside…John Malkovich!

Rubix is live participation; expect a densely packed program of masterclasses, workshops and exhibitions ensuring endless opportunities to engage in transformative learning. Try your hand at 3D printing, pottery or… body painting.
